Thursday/January 22

No. 1 smothered chicken or No. 2 stuffed peppers, mashed potatoes with gravy, winter mix vegetables, white bread, ambrosia fruit salad*.

Friday/January 23

No. 1 barbecue chicken, No. 2 lemon baked fish with macaroni and cheese, California blend vegetables, wheat bread and fruit cup.

Monday/January 26

No. 1 Swiss steak or No. 2 liver and onions, au gratin potatoes, mixed vegatables, whole wheat bread, fruit cocktail.

Tuesday/January 27

No. 1chili and beans or No. 2 chicken and rice, steamed carrots, low-sodium crackers, cherry crisp*.

Wednesday/January 28

No. 1 chicken parmesan or No. 2 pork patty, spaghetti with tomato sauce, tossed salad with tomato, French bread, citrus salad.

Thursday/January 29

No. 1 pot roast or No. 2 chicken fried steak, oven browned potatoes, baked carrots, celery and onions, dinner roll and Mandarin oranges.

Friday/January 30

No. 1 grilled chicken sandwich or No. 2 sloppy joe, tater rounds, broccoli, bananas and brownie•.

Only meal No. 1 is available for home delivery.

*Indicates diabetic substitution

Milk and bread are served daily. Menu are subject to change.

To be eligible for Johnson County home delivered meals, a person must be homebound and older than 60 years of age. Cost is by donation only. The suggested donation/contribution is $2.50 a meal, however no one is refused service because of inability to pay. Reservations and cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance.
