Members of Boy Scout Troop 64 of Eudora have returned from a week at Camp Naish, near Bonner Springs. Scouts attending were Andrew Briery, Simon Elwell, Nathan Gentleman, Andrew Rome and Alex Whitten. Adult leaders were Jim Morrison, Jay Criqui and Brian Rome.
Scoutmaster Glenn Jackson visited Wednesday morning. Family members and friends of the troop visited camp Friday night, bringing pizza for everyone.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
