Scouting for food

Cub Scout Pack 3064 and Boy Scout Troop 64, along with the Eudora Girl Scouts, 4-H’ers, members of the Holy Family Catholic Church confirmation class and the Eudora United Methodist youth group will be participating in the 22nd annual Scouting-for-Food food drive Saturday in Eudora.
They will pick up all of the food items left on the front porches of homes in Eudora throughout the day.
All food collected will be going to the Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry located at the St. Paul Church of Christ in Eudora.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
