EHS and EMS choir update
November 25, 2009
The Eudora Middle and High School choirs will perform Christmas carols at 10: 30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Dec. 2 in the atrium at Crown Center.
They also will sing from 5 to 6 p.m. Dec. 5 at the downtown Eudora lighting ceremony.
The choral departments will collect canned food items and monetary donations for the Eudora food pantry.
The EMS and EHS choirs also will have a friendly competition to see who can collect the most food items.
The two groups will ask each person who attends the Dec. 14 winter concerts, which will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. for the EMS choir and from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. for the EHS choir in the EMS auditorium, to donate at least one can.

Point of View
What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
