Eudora Holy Family sesquicentennial display to be open this weekend

The sesquicentennial display at the old Eudora Catholic Church at Ninth and Church streets will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The displays of various aspects of church and its interaction with Eudora history will be taken down in two weeks.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
