USD 491, health department to provide H1N1 vaccine clinics
Eudora USD 491 will be partnering with the Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department to provide free H1N1 influenza vaccinations.
All clinic times and dates are tentative because vaccine quantities can change.
The clinic for students in grades first through fifth is from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at Eudora Elementary School. The clinic for Eudora High School will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at EHS and the clinic for Eudora Middle School will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Nov. 6 at EMS.
Only students whose parent or guardian has signed a consent form will be allowed to get the vaccine at the clinics taking place during school hours.
The clinic for members of the public who are in priority groups is from
4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at EES.
Priority groups include children between the ages of 6 months to 18 years; caregivers or parents of children younger than 6 months old; women who are pregnant; and healthcare and emergency medical service workers in direct contact with the disease.
