EABSA elections

The Eudora Amateur Baseball and Softball Association will have elections for board members from 6 to 7 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Eudora Community Center, 1630 Elm St.
Following the elections, there will be a meeting with the new board members.
Those who plan to run for election to the board must register by Sept. 11.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
