Tuggle 90th birthday party

There will be a 90th birthday celebration for Alvena Tuggle from 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 5 at the Eudora United Methodist Church, 2084, N. 1300 Road.
The family requests no gifts.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
