EudoraFest update

The 13th annual EudoraFest will be held on Oct. 3. All vendors will be located on the newly renovated Main Street.
There also are a few spaces left for vendors.

Parade entries are due by Sept. 30. Call Rob at 785-542-1958 for parade information or pick up a registration form at Byrne’s Pharmacy.
• EudoraFest meetings are scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday; Sept. 17 and 24; and Oct. 1 in the basement of Eudora City Hall.
Everyone is welcome to attend and participate in the planning of this annual fall event.
Entries for the Miss EudoraFest Contest are still available.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
