Eudora Schools Resource Center grand opening

The Eudora Schools Resource Center, located in Eudora West Early Childhood and Family Center, will have its grand opening from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
Families from the district who do not have kids attending EWECFC are asked to come between 6 and 7 p.m.
Families of students who are attending the center — those in kindergarten or preschool — are asked to attend between 7 to 8:30 p.m.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
