Cards swept at Louisburg

Justin Ballock scored 16 points and Brian Katzfey 13, but the Eudora boys fell 50-49 in overtime Friday at Louisburg.
Eudora trailed 23-17 at the half, but outscored the Wildcats 17-10 in the third quarter. Louisburg, though, tied the scored in the fourth and outsocred the Cardinals 5-4 in overtime.

Hannah Kouri scored six points to lead Eudora, but the EHS girls fell 56-20 Friday at Louisburg.
Eudora trailed 17-5 at the half, and Louisburg out-scored the Cardinals 26-6 in the third quarter to put the game out of reach.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
