Parks and Rec update

The Eudora Parks and Recreation Department still has openings for youth soccer. The league is available for children between the ages of 4 and 14. The cost is $35 per child.
Deadline is Friday with games beginning March 27. You may also sign-up online at www.eudoraparksandrec.org

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
