Ball named director of Wildcat Warm-up

Kelsie Ball of Eudora is one of four Kansas State University students selected to serve as a director of the university's Wildcat Warm-up program.
Wildcat Warm-up is an opportunity for new students to spend three days and two nights at K-State the summer before their first semester at K-State. The program's purpose is to establish connections to current students, faculty and staff, as well as to teach student success strategies and K-State traditions. Wildcat Warm-up is in addition to orientation and enrollment.
Ball is a junior in family studies and human services at K-State.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
