EHS wrestling meet rescheduled
Eudora’s meet with Gardner and Ottawa last week was canceled because of bad weather. The event has been rescheduled for 5 p.m. Jan. 19 at Ottawa.
Boys basketball games vs. Baldwin rescheduled
Eudora High School’s boys basketball games last Friday against Baldwin were canceled because of bad weather.
The games have been rescheduled for Feb. 8 at Eudora.
Girls basketball games vs. Baldwin rescheduled
Eudora High School’s girls basketball games originally scheduled for last Friday against Baldwin were canceled because of bad weather.
The games have been rescheduled for Feb. 9 at Eudora.
Eighth-grade boys fall
The eighth-grade boys basketball teams traveled Monday to Tonganoxie for a game against the Warriors.
Both teams competed hard, but fell. The junior varsity lost 29-11 and the varsity lost 51-23. The Cardinals will play Spring Hill Thursday at Eudora.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
