Eudora Lion’s Club Blood Drive

The Eudora Lions Club and Community Blood Center will have a blood drive from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday in the Eudora Middle School commons, 2635 Church St.
CBC has only one to two days supply of blood because of the holidays and inclement weather that caused some blood drives to be cancelled.
To make an appointment, go to www.esavealifenow.org and use the sponsor code eudoralions. You can also contact Bob Slapar at (785) 542-2315. Walk-ins are welcome.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
