Eudora woman arrested after driving through liquor store
A 57-year-old rural Eudora woman was arrested Wednesday afternoon on a charge of operating under the influence after driving a truck through the front of Main Street Wine & Spirits, 728 Main St., Eudora.
According to Eudora Cpl. Chris Casagrande, the woman drove a full-sized black pick-up truck halfway into the front of the store after 3:30 p.m.
A clerk was present at the time of the accident, but no one else was in the store. No injuries were reported.
Casagrande said the accident is still under investigation.
The front window of the store was destroyed, and people were working inside Wednesday night to temporarily fix the damage.
