Eudora tops Spring Hill

September 18, 2010

Eudora High School put up 24 first-half points and cruised to a 24-7 win Friday at Spring Hill.

Derek Webb opened the scoring for the Cardinals, hauling in a 23-yard touchdown pass from Christian Richardson in the first quarter. Boomer Mays added the two-point conversion to put Eudora up 8-0.

Eudora scored twice in the second quarter, first on Mays' three-yard run then on a six-yard run by Chris Pyle. Mays and Derek Webb added the two-point conversions on the touchdowns to open up a 24-0 lead for the Cardinals.

Spring Lake rounded out the scoring with a touchdown in the third quarter.

Eudora, 2-1 on the season, will play host to De Soto at 7 p.m. Friday at Eudora District Stadium.

I thought I was at the same game. I remember seeing Christain Richardson receive a pass for a touchdown score. Also last week against St. James you mentioned Christain as an afterword. Against St. James, Christain was the first one to score (also the first one to score on the new field). He also scored later in the game. I thought as a journalist you would report the game as it happened.

What about injured player number 3 Drew?
