Eudora tops Spring Hill
Eudora High School put up 24 first-half points and cruised to a 24-7 win Friday at Spring Hill.
Derek Webb opened the scoring for the Cardinals, hauling in a 23-yard touchdown pass from Christian Richardson in the first quarter. Boomer Mays added the two-point conversion to put Eudora up 8-0.
Eudora scored twice in the second quarter, first on Mays' three-yard run then on a six-yard run by Chris Pyle. Mays and Derek Webb added the two-point conversions on the touchdowns to open up a 24-0 lead for the Cardinals.
Spring Lake rounded out the scoring with a touchdown in the third quarter.
Eudora, 2-1 on the season, will play host to De Soto at 7 p.m. Friday at Eudora District Stadium.
