Community invited to participate in April 27 blood drive at Eudora High School
Community Blood Center, the provider of blood services to local hospitals, will have a blood drive from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. April 27 in the commons area at Eudora High School, 2203 Church St. The blood drive is sponsored by the EHS Student Council.
Last year, 28,000 people in the area needed a blood transfusion. This year, the local needs for blood are expected to rise. Community Blood Center must collect at least 580 pints of blood every day to meet the needs of our area. One donation can help as many as two local hospital patients.
