LMH to open Eudora medical building in April
Lawrence Memorial Hospital will open its Eudora medical building next month, officials announced.
The building, near Kansas Highway 10 and Church Street, is scheduled to open April 18.
Todd Koch, director of facilities at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, said the walls were painted and the flooring would be done next week. He expects the new medical building to be move-in ready on April 1.
Computers are expected to go in the first week of April, and the furniture arrives March 29. Road improvements around the building are scheduled to be completed April 15.
The $2.5 million building will have 11 exam rooms, a procedure room and dedicated X-ray equipment. LMH Kreider Rehabilitation Services will offer outpatient physical therapy, and Byrne's Pharmacy will lease space in the building.
LMH plans to have an open house in mid-May.
