White Dog Road improvements slated

The city of Eudora is tentatively closing N1300 Rd (White Dog Road), located just east of Route 1061, as of Tuesday, March 22, for road improvements.

Keith A. Browning, director of Public Works and Douglas County engineer, announced the road closing in an e-mail to public officials and media outlets.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
