The Eudora Community of Christ Life Center will have a free community Christmas dinner from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Eudora Community Center, 1630 Elm St.

The Eudora United Methodist Church women will have a cookie sale and bazaar from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church, 2084 N. 1300 Rd. Lunch will be available.

Harry Patterson talks about his past and it sounds like an a cappella version of Johnny Cash’s “I’ve Been Everywhere.” He and his wife, Thelma, have added Eudora to the list of places they call home and are starting the People’s Bible Church, which will have its first service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at 1103 Main St.
