Lawrence-Douglas County planning commissioners are recommending that a proposed Kansas River sand pit operation just north of Eudora be denied by Douglas County commissioners.
White Dog Road improvements slated

The city of Eudora is tentatively closing N1300 Rd (White Dog Road), located just east of Route 1061, as of Tuesday, March 22, for road improvements. Keith A. Browning, director of Public Works and Douglas County engineer, announced the road closing in an e-mail to public officials and media outlets.
