Shopping carts can cause harm
November 8, 2007
Between 1 and 2 p.m. on Oct. 31, an abandoned shopping cart left in the lot by some careless, thoughtless person damaged my car, parked in the C&S Market parking lot. This irresponsible act is going to cost me $1,000 plus in repairs to my fender.
Charter Ordinance deserves support
November 1, 2007
Charter Ordinance 10 was passed by the Eudora City Council in order to help Eudora attract and maintain quality employees. The ordinance moved up the time for appointment and changed the appointment term from one year to two years. The hope is that existing and potential employees would view employment with the city of Eudora as a stable situation, giving Eudora a competitive advantage over cities that use one year appointments.

October 25, 2007
EudoraFest 2007 was fantastic. The 11th EudoraFest was the biggest one we’ve ever had. Main Street was packed with people. Vendor signup totaled 123. The car show had some real cool vehicles. The garden tractor pull had a large following. The talent show and entertainment was great. Even the cakewalk had a lot of winners.
