Elden S. Lynn 1919 - 2008
Memorial services for Elden Stuart Lynn, 88, were Thursday, April 24, at Monticello Methodist Church in Shawnee. Burial was at the old Monticello Cemetery.
Mr. Lynn died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at Hillside Village Nursing Home in De Soto.
He was born on July 18, 1919, in Lenexa, the son of Harry and Adelia "Mama Dee" Lynn.
He attended school at Shawnee Mission.
Mr. Lynn farmed and purchased a milk route in May 1946.
He married Marjorie "Margie" Lee West on Dec. 28, 1940, in Butler, Mo. She died April 4, 2008.
Mr. Lynn also had an older brother, Lloyd Lynn, and a younger brother, Kenneth Lynn.
He is survived by two sons, Denny Lynn, Eudora, and Chuck Lynn, Lawrence; a daughter, Frances Duckworth, Shawnee; six grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
