Bonnie M. McCall 1935 - 2008

Services for Bonnie M. McCall, 72, Eudora, will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Fort Scott National Cemetery.
Mrs. McCall died Friday, April 11, 2008, in Eudora.
She was born July 4, 1935, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Roy P. and Velma Mae Carter Foster.
She grew up in Kansas City, Kan., and later moved to McLouth before moving to Lawrence. In Lawrence, she worked for several years at King Radio. She retired and moved to Redfield.
Mrs. McCall was a member of Auxiliary No. 852 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Lawrence, where she was also a former president and treasurer. She was also a former president of Second District to the VFW.
She married Delbert Monroe on May 27, 1975, in Miami, Okla. He died Nov. 20, 2003.
Survivors include three daughters, Cindy Saler, Topeka, Alice Stith, Eudora, Charlene Gibbens, Bonner Springs; a son, Stephen Lee, Eudora; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
The family suggests memorials to American Heart Association or American Lung Association, sent in care of the mortuary.
