Leo E. Lauber 1926 - 2008

Funeral services for Leo E. Lauber, 82, Eudora were Monday, August 18, 2008, at the Warren-McElwain Mortuary Eudora Chapel. Burial will followed in the Eudora Cemetery.
He died August 13, 2008, at the Medicalodges in Eudora.
He was born January 12, 1926, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Leo M. and Helen Pittaway Lauber.
He served his country during World War II.
He attended Kansas University and later graduated from the Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City.
He worked as a chiropractor in Kansas City before moving to Eudora in 1959 where he practiced until 1976. He was also founder of the Orthopedic Casting Laboratory. He was active in City Council and Planning Commission, former president of Lions Club, served on the School Board, was a member of MENSA, Eco 2 Commission and founded Intech Business Park.
Dr. Lauber married Jean "Dusty" Leavendusky on June 2, 1950, in Kansas City, Kan. She survives of the home.
Others survivors include five sons, Mark, and his wife, Kim, Chris, David, Rick, Tim and his wife, Shelley; a daughter, Joy Lauber all of Eudora; one sister Joan Caldwell of Kansas City, Kan.; 13 grandchildren, Beau, Cody, Christina, Brandon, Ryan, Audrey, Kathryn, Megan, Bailey, Cameron, Kaitlyn, Dylan and Gracelyn.
Family will greet friends Monday prior to the service at the Warren-McElwain Mortuary- Eudora Chapel.
Family suggests memorials in his name to Crossroads Hospice, Medicalodges of Eudora or the Salvation Army and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
