Norge Jerome ( in Shawnee) says...
“Superstorm Sandy spared most of my relatives and friends out east. One relative with three young boys vacated the home due to power failure.”
Ray Erlichman ( in Shawnee) says...
“We are ALL going to be impacted by it. When businesses on the East Coast have to shut down in those large numbers, it affects everybody. When folks in NYC can’t get to work, it affects everybody.”
Satinder Hundal ( in Shawnee) says...
“We have several immediate family members who were affected, but after a few days of setback, they are lending support to those that were less fortunate. Certainly praying for all those affected by the devastation.”
Michael Sanders ( in Shawnee) says...
"I rode, with my parents, through the aftermath of the tornado devastation in Ruskin Heights and I took cell phone pictures of the tornado devastation in Joplin, Missouri. Super storm Sandy shows me again how man’s destiny is sometimes subordinated to Mother Nature’s fury."
