Kat Roberts and Ande Kearns look at an old Cadillac donated by Pat Slimmer, owner of Slimmer's Automotive Service in Lawrence decorated by students from all eight Frontier League schools that participated in the Frontier League Art Festival at Eudora High School May 7. EHS took first place in the contest portion of the festival, earning four of five available best in show awards. In the background is a graffiti wall student participants created.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?

As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
