Bailey Scott looks for an open teammate against Gardner. Scott averaged 11 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals for the EHS girls basketball team. She also was an all-league pick and helped lead the Eudora girls to the state tournament for the first time in 17 years.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
