Boomer Mays wrestles Saturday at the Eudora Tournament of Champions. Mays finished third overall in the 215-pound weight class. Six Eudora wrestlers placed at the two-day tournament.

The Eudora wrestling team faced some of the best competition in Classes 4A-6A over the weekend at the Eudora Tournament of Champions. And the Cardinals showed they could compete with the best.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
