What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.

I am soooo voting for Scott Hopson!!! He seems to be totally for the better of the City and its Employees. Where as the mayor now..... Let's just say he didn't even realize the utility bills went up 3% and HE was the one along with the council that approved it.

I already voted for Mr. Pyle. He has experience and has done a lot during his current term to better our city. I think it is important to have someone with experience during this time of economic turmoil.

I'm voting for Tom Pyle because I like where the current Council is taking us. I believe they are looking toward the future and have a good handle on the trials ahead.
