In victory, the Eudora Cardinals sat in stunned silence in the locker room after the game. They’re 35-28 win over Baldwin on Senior Night was not good enough to get them into the playoffs.

Sophomores Ivan Espinosa and Kaya Riemann did not medal at last weekend’s state cross country meet at Wamego, but they left the course knowing what they had to do next year if they want to be back running at state.

Eudora senior running back Ryan Fisher gets to the edge at home against De Soto in the second game of the season. Fisher ran for 306 yards and scored two touchdowns in the game. Fisher ran for 1,826 yards and scored 20 touchdowns in his senior year.

Eudora lineman Colton Lynch makes a block Friday night against Perry-Lecompton. The Cardinals scored on all but two of their possessions in the game, but lost 41-33 at home. Eudora (2-5, 0-1) will look for its first win in district play Friday at Santa Fe Trail.
