The Eudora High School volleyball team would probably like to erase late September from its memories. Since that isn’t possible, the Cardinals will look to regroup as they suffered their third loss in a little over a week as they were defeated by West Franklin, 25-23, 23-25, 25-22, in the semifinal round Saturday at the Wellsville Invitational.

After playing with a 0-0 tie for nearly the entire contest, the Eudora High School soccer team gave up two goals in the final 13 minutes of play to fall 2-0 to Perry-Lecompton Tuesday afternoon.

Despite scoring first and even managing to tie the contest in early in the second half, the Eudora High School soccer team suffered a 4-2 defeat against Gardner Edgerton Tuesday evening. The Cardinals, however, put up a solid fight in the contest after being shut out, 4-0, when the two teams met in the season opener in August.

Cardinals pick up first win against former coach, Paola

With a full slate of games scheduled, the Eudora High School soccer team got an unexpected breather Tuesday evening as the scheduled game against Tonganoxie was postponed because of weather. Of course, the break came exactly when the Cardinals were trying to build momentum, not when they were looking for the extra time. After struggling through four straight losses, Eudora finally notched its first win of the season Thursday with a 4-1 win over Paola.
Second half helps Cards notch another

For the third consecutive week, the Eudora High School football team found itself staring at a deficit Friday night after allowing a first-quarter touchdown on a one-yard run by Wellsville’s Bubba Oshel. And, for the third-straight week, the Cardinals responded in full force as they went on to score six straight unanswered touchdowns to capture a 41-15 win to remain unbeaten.
