In addition to the traditional whole milk, another favorite among many locals is Iwig's strawberry milk.
The Lawrence Iwig Family Dairy store opened earlier this year at 1901 Mass. In addition to fresh milk, butter and ice cream from the family dairy in Tecumseh, the store sells other local produce and food items.
Lawrence author Louise Krug is pictured with her 6-month-old daughter Olive. Krug's memoir, "Louise: Amended," chronicles the struggles both she and her family experienced after a cavernous angioma was removed from her brain stem in 2005.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
