I have been following the girls basketball program and I am in shock that this team continues to struggle. It seems that we cannot even get the basics down. Traveling, missed shots at free throw line, lay ups, and something as basic as a good strong pass to one of the "Eudora players" and not the other team. When will this coach realize that we need to work on basics to improve our team and stop making excuses that the other team was just better. Last year we had a good team and several of those strong players returned, so what seems to be the problem? Coaching or the lack thereof. The girls are working hard, but you can clearly see the frustration on their faces. We have about 5 games remaining, it would be nice to hear our coach actually say something to the girls when they do good or bad instead of just sitting there.
