POSSIBLE LATE THIS EVENING ACROSS SOUTHERN KANSAS...THOUGH THIS
IS EXPECTED TO BE MAINLY A SNOW EVENT ACROSS THE AREA. TOTAL SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 5 INCHES ARE EXPECTED BY MONDAY MORNING...
WITH THE HIGHEST TOTALS ACROSS SOUTHEAST KANSAS.
...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST

* TIMING...SNOW IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE LATE THIS EVENING. SOME
OF THE SNOW COULD START AS A PERIOD OF SLEET OR LIGHT FREEZING
RAIN ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS. THE SNOW WILL CONTINUE
OVERNIGHT BEFORE ENDING EARLY MONDAY MORNING.
* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...UP TO TWO INCHES IS EXPECTED BY EARLY
MONDAY MORNING.
* SLEET ACCUMULATIONS...ARE EXPECTED TO BE LIGHT...MAINLY LESS
THAN ONE-HALF INCH.
* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...ARE EXPECTED TO BE LIGHT...GENERALLY
LITTLE MORE THAN A TRACE.
* IMPACTS...ROADS...BRIDGES...AND OVERPASSES MAY BECOME SLICK
AND HAZARDOUS FOR DRIVING DUE TO SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS.
VISIBILITIES MAY BE REDUCED TO ONE-HALF MILE AT TIMES. THOSE
PLANNING TRAVEL IN THE ADVISORY AREA SHOULD PREPARE FOR
POSSIBLE DELAYS AND ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO REACH THEIR
DESTINATIONS.
