STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 4 MILES WEST OF
JEROME TO DEVIL`S ELBOW TO OZARK SPRINGS TO STOUTLAND TO 4 MILES EAST
OF LEBANON...MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH. PENNY SIZE HAIL...AND WINDS
AROUND 50 MPH ARE EXPECTED WITH THESE STORMS.
LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE CROCKER...DIXON...DOOLITTLE...FORT LEONARD
WOOD...LEBANON...NEWBURG...RICHLAND...ROLLA...ST. ROBERT AND
WAYNESVILLE.
INTERSTATE 44 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 115 AND 188 WILL ALSO BE IMPACTED
BY THESE STORMS.
THUNDERSTORMS POSE A VARIETY OF HAZARDS TO THOSE OUTDOORS...INCLUDING
HAIL... STRONG WINDS THAT CAN CREATE DANGEROUS FLYING PROJECTILES AND
DEBRIS...AS WELL AS DEADLY CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING. IF YOU ARE IN
THE PATH OF THESE STORMS...MOVE INDOORS TO A STURDY SHELTER
IMMEDIATELY.
