FOLLOWING AREAS...IN CENTRAL MISSOURI...COOPER...HOWARD...
PETTIS AND SALINE. IN NORTH CENTRAL MISSOURI...CARROLL...
CHARITON...GRUNDY...LINN MO...LIVINGSTON...MACON...PUTNAM...
RANDOLPH AND SULLIVAN. IN NORTHEAST MISSOURI...ADAIR AND
SCHUYLER. IN WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI...HENRY...JOHNSON MO AND
LAFAYETTE.
* UNTIL 1 AM CDT THURSDAY
* PERIODS OF RAIN WITH EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED OVER THE
REGION INTO THE EARLY EVENING HOURS. THESE STORMS MAY REPEATEDLY
IMPACT THE SAME AREAS...WITH ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS AVERAGING
AROUND A QUARTER OF AN INCH AND LOCAL AMOUNTS UP TO HALF AN INCH
POSSIBLE OVER PARTS OF CENTRAL MISSOURI.
* HEAVY RAINFALL...COMBINED WITH RECENT RAINFALL AND SNOW MELT...WILL
LIKELY LEAD TO FLOODING OF CREEKS...STREAMS... TRIBUTARIES...FARM
LAND AND OTHER FLOOD PRONE LOW LYING AREAS.
A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING BASED ON
CURRENT FORECASTS.
YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE
FLOOD WARNINGS. THOSE LIVING IN AREAS PRONE TO FLOODING SHOULD BE
