HICKORY...NORTHERN DALLAS...NORTHERN DENT...NORTHERN LACLEDE...
NORTHERN POLK...PHELPS...PULASKI...SOUTHERN CAMDEN AND ST. CLAIR
COUNTIES...
AT 210 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
THAT RAINFALL HAD ENDED ACROSS MOST OF THE WARNED AREA. RAINFALL
AMOUNTS SINCE WEDNESDAY EVENING RANGED FROM 1 TO 4 INCHES WITH THE
HIGHEST RAINFALL TOTALS IN HICKORY AND LACLEDE COUNTIES.
RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL IS CAUSING FLASH FLOODING.
CREEKS...STREAMS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS WILL BE ESPECIALLY
SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODING.
THE MOST SIGNIFICANT FLASH FLOODING IS OCCURRING IN HICKORY AND
LACLEDE COUNTIES. MANY ROADS WERE FLOODED INCLUDING IN THE LEBANON
AREA.
