THIS MORNING OVER PORTIONS OF FAR NORTHEAST MISSOURI AND WEST
CENTRAL ILLINOIS. THE FREEZING RAIN WILL LIKELY CONTINUE TO MOVE
EASTWARD ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE HIGHWAY 136 CORRIDOR...OR ALONG
AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM MEMPHIS MISSOURI...THROUGH KAHOKA TO
CARTHAGE ILLINOIS THROUGH 10 AM CDT.
THE FREEZING RAIN MAY PRODUCE A THIN LAYER OF ICE ON BRIDGES...
OVERPASSES...AND ELEVATED SURFACES BEFORE TEMPERATURES RISE ABOVE
FREEZING LATER THIS MORNING.
MOTORISTS SHOULD ALLOW EXTRA TRAVEL TIME AND BE PREPARED FOR SLICK
SPOTS ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES.
