...PATCHY...LOCALLY DENSE FOG POSSIBLE THROUGH DAYBREAK...
WITH THE COOLER AIR MOVING INTO THE QUAD STATE REGION...SOME
LOCATIONS...ESPECIALLY NEAR BODIES OF WATER...MAY SEE THE
DEVELOPMENT OF FOG BETWEEN 3 AM AND 7 AM CDT.
THIS FOG WILL BE PATCHY IN NATURE...BUT VISIBILITIES MAY CHANGE
SHARPLY IN SHORT DISTANCES. DRIVERS TRAVELING OVERNIGHT SHOULD BE
WATCHFUL FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING VISIBILITIES DUE TO FOG ON THE ROAD
AND DRIVE ACCORDINGLY.
AT THIS TIME...THE BEST CHANCES FOR SEEING FOG DEVELOPMENT WILL BE
IN ANY AREA BOUNDED BY PERRYVILLE AND CAPE GIRARDEAU
MISSOURI...ACROSS THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER TO MURPHYSBORO AND ANNA IN
SOUTHWEST ILLINOIS.
ADDITIONAL FOG WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER SOUTHWEST ILLINOIS ALONG AND
WEST OF INTERSTATE 57...AS WELL AS ALONG ROUTE 13 IN SOUTHERN
ILLINOIS AND EAST TOWARD MORGANFIELD KENTUCKY.
IF YOU DO PLAN TRAVEL PRIOR TO SUNRISE THIS MORNING...THEN ALLOW A
LITTLE EXTRA TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION IN FOG PRONE AREAS.
ANY FOG THAT DEVELOPS SHOULD LIFT COMPLETELY BY 9 AM CDT.
