Services for Ada L. Kane, 95, Topeka, were Monday at Davidson Funeral Home, Topeka. Burial was in Ozawkie Cemetery.
Mrs. Kane died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2000, at a Topeka care home.
She was born Jan. 17, 1905, in Ozawkie, the daughter of John A. and Sarah (Root) Miller. She had attended schools in Ozawkie.
She married Edgar Newton. They were later divorced. She married Cleve Johnson in 1921 in Topeka. He died in August 1955. She married Arthur Kane. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Mildred Yost, Lecompton, and Dorothy Jeffers, Linwood; a son, Alvin R. "Swede" Johnson, Clovis, N.M.; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
A son, Everett "Pete" Newton, died earlier.
