Fifty-one residents and friends enjoyed the combined birthday party and potluck dinner Saturday at Pinecrest II clubroom. The birthday people were Olive Clark, Mickey Rightmire and Carroll Schopper.


Lorie Corbin spent Sunday with her sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Don Curry of Merriam.


Yvonne Spencer of California spent Friday with her grandparents Claud and Elva Jordan.


Roger and Winona Plummer of Lecompton spent Friday with their mother, Lois Plummer.


Jim and Edith LaValley of Ottawa spent Saturday with their mother, Lois Plummer.


Lorie Corbin, Ruth Wilson, Paul and Doris Oelschlaeger were hosts to their pitch club Friday evening at Pinecrest II clubroom.


Tillie Bichelmeyer visited her sister Agnes Rossman Wednesday at the Richmond Care Home.


Tillie Bichelmeyer, Joe and Marty Bichelmeyer, and Jim Bichelmeyer of Shawnee, enjoyed a fish fry Sunday at the Nunemaker-Ross farm.


Ethel Scott, John and Amye Scott, and Edith Hoffine of Bonner Springs attended the wedding of Joel White and Wendy Whitfield Saturday at Danforth Chapel at Kansas University in Lawrence.


Ethel Scott was a dinner guest Sunday in the home of her son John and daughter-in-law Amye Scott to help John celebrate his birthday. Other guests were Lee and Melanie Scott of Lawrence, Mary Scott, and Jeff and Karen Lewis and their children, Kathy and David.


Mike and Eileen Burns and their three daughters of Garnett, Sharon Bohm of Leavenworth, and Max, Vince and Logan Alvarez helped Olive Clark celebrate her birthday Saturday.


Elsie Mathia accompanied Rocky and Betty Mason to the home of Donna Schmidt in De Soto Saturday evening to celebrate Charles Schmidt's birthday and a going away party for Lee and Tammy Bramlett and their four daughters who are going back to Africa as missionaries for two more years.


Clarice Morriss visited Elfrieda Westerhouse at the Eudora Nursing Center Monday afternoon.


Marilyn and Melvin Morriss Jr. visited their mother, Clarice Morriss, Sunday evening.


My daughter Sharon Musick came over Thursday evening and pulled the weeds from my flowerbeds.


My great-granddaughter Tiffany Musick visited me Sunday evening.
