Braeden Cooper Herron
Lance and Gretchen Herron, Lawrence, announce the birth of a son, Braeden Cooper, born Thursday, June 7, 2001, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.
Braeden weighed 8 pounds 6.5 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. He has one sister, Jensen, 3.
Maternal grandparents are John and Jackie Ayler, Eudora. Paternal grandmother is Vicki Maykulsky, Lawrence.
Maternal great-grandparents are Ab and Treavha Hall, Eudora; and Richard and Dorothy Ayler, Garden City, Mo. Paternal great-grandparents are A.J. and Lois Herron, Wichita.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
