Services for Crosby K. Edmonds, 61, McLouth, were Wednesday, Jan. 28, at the McLouth United Methodist Church. Burial was in McLouth Cemetery.
Mr. Edmonds died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
He was born June 4, 1942, in McLouth, the son of Gensler E. and Marie R. (Crosby) Edmonds. He was a 1960 graduate of McLouth High School.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1962 in an engineer's battalion.
Mr. Edmonds was a boilermaker and was a member of the Boilermakers Union Local No. 83 in Kansas City, Kan. He retired in 1999.
He was a member of the McLouth United Methodist Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 55 in Leavenworth.
He married Sharon L. Courtney on Sept. 12, 1977, in Oskaloosa. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include his mother, Redondo Beach, Calif.; two sons, Bill Edmonds, Lawrence, and Del Hedgepath, Kansas City, Mo.; four daughters, Michelle Gabriel, Eudora, Leasa Keesee, Basehor, Lori Parker, Lawrence, and Dana Houk, Oskaloosa; a sister, Donis Bailey, San Diego; and 13 grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the church, sent in care of the Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 416, Oskaloosa 66066.
