A. Keith Colman

Funeral services for A. Keith Colman, 83, Eudora, were Tuesday, Jan. 18, at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Eudora. Burial was in Eudora Cemetery.
Mr. Colman died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
He was born Nov. 4, 1921, in Lawrence, the son of Lee and Marie Davis Colman. He was a graduate of Liberty Memorial High School.
Mr. Colman served in the U.S. Army Air Corps stateside as an airplane mechanic during World War II.
He was the Surge Dairy Farm Equipment dealer in the area for many years. He owned Burger Chef in Lawrence during the late 1960s.
Mr. Colman was a member of the International Order of the Odd Fellows in Eudora and was a member of the Jayhawk Model Masters Model Airplane group.
He married Janice Guenther on Feb. 9, 1942, in Arizona. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Rogers, Lawrence; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A daughter Arlan Kay Colman preceded him in death on Sept. 28, 2004.
The family suggests memorials to the St. Paul United Church of Christ, sent in care of the Warren-McElwain Mortuary Eudora Chapel, 1003 John L. Williams Drive, Eudora 66025.
