Boy Scout Troop 64 of Eudora had its spring Court of Honor March 27 at the Eudora United Methodist Church.
The following boys received rank advancement: Jonathan Morrison, Life; Colin Forsberg, 2nd Class; and Nathan Bradley, Conner Bradley, Andrew Briery, Devon Middleton and Steven Wimmer, Scout.
Merit badges earned since the last Court of Honor included Tom Stanley, Astronomy and Environmental Science; Joseph Walker, Computer, Graphic Arts, and Citizenship in the World; Jonathan Morrison, Chemistry, Citizenship in the Nation and Citizenship in the World; and Nathan Gentleman, Environmental Science.
Some Scouts were not able to attend and will receive their badges at the next troop meeting including Tyler Lathrom, who completed requirements for 1st Class Scout.
Bonnie Neis was presented with a plaque and keychain in recognition of eight years of serve as Troop committee chairperson.
Troop 64 is chartered to the Eudora Lions Club. The group meets at 7 p.m. Mondays at Eudora United Methodist Church, 703 Church St.
Boy Scout Troop 52, chartered to First United Methodist Church in Lawrence, had a Court of Honor on March 28.
Eudora resident Mason McCurdy received 2nd Bronze Palm rank advancement for his Eagle. He also received a merit badge.
