Gertrude Coon spent Sunday with her son and daughter-in-law Steve and Sue Coon in Baldwin City.

Leahann Snow visited Elsie Mathia Friday afternoon.

Kenneth Vorhies was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital on Friday.

Bertie Morriss was a dinner guest Sunday evening of her daughter and son-in-law Merlene and Price McCormick.
Other guests were Kevin and Anna McCormick, Lawrence, Kurtis and Misty McCormick and children Kasi and Kurtis, and Travis and Brandi McCormick and Jace. Games were played after dinner.

Tillie Bichelmeyer and Emma Jean Taylor and Valerie Richardson, Julia Polfer, Olathe, and Jan Kelley, Overland Park, played pinochle at the home of Ellen Moll in Lenexa on Tuesday.

My grandson Richard Steffen, Surprise, Ariz., visited my sister and brother-in-law Carol and Howard Belles in Lawrence on Wednesday. That evening, he took me to dinner at a Lawrence restaurant.
He returned home Thursday after spending a week in Eudora visiting relatives and friends and attending his cousin Wayne Tuggle's funeral.

My great-grandson Dennis Musick, Tonganoxie, visited me Sunday afternoon.

My daughter Sharon Musick, and Carol Scott, Clarice Morris and I attended the Four State Conclave in Topeka Friday and Saturday.
About 200 Rebekahs and Odd Fellows from Kansas, Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska attended the annual event.
The next meeting will be in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
