Clinton Lake levels

Water .33 feet below normal and 84 degrees. Feeders operational. Walleye fair on jigs and nightcrawlers, while trolling crankbaits and swimming jigs over structure, mainly in early morning. White bass-wiper fair while vertically jigging Clinton Point area and casting jigs off windy points and off dam. Find them under schools of shad. Channel catfish excellent on stinkbait, minnows and liver in lake. Baited areas producing lots of fish. Also try shrimp under bobber off dam. Drum fair on worms fished on bottom. Crappie poor. Most being caught on minnows and jigs fished over brushpiles at about 15 feet.
