Pinecrest news

The July birthday party and potluck dinner will be at noon Saturday in Pinecrest II clubroom.
Those celebrating July birthdays include Cheri Thompson, Freda Schwindt, Ruby Fitzgerald, Jodie Christopherson, Jack Bowers, Carroll Schopper and Gerald Thompson.

The Golden Agers Club will meet at noon Thursday at Eudora City Hall, 4 East Seventh St. Everyone is invited. Those planning to attend are asked to bring a covered dish and a friend.

Steve and Sue Coon, Baldwin City, visited his mother, Gertrude Coon, Thursday afternoon.

Kim Martino, De Soto, visited her grandmother Elsie Mathia Tuesday.

Tillie Bichelmeyer entertained Emma Jean Taylor, Ellen Moll and Julia Polfer, Olathe, for lunch on Tuesday. The afternoon was spent playing pinochle.

Mary Margaret Katzfey has returned home after spending some time at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

Elva Jordan returned home Thursday evening after being at Lawrence Memorial Hospital for several days.

My sister Carol Belles, Lawrence, took my daughter Sharon Musick and I out to lunch to celebrate Sharon's birthday.
My daughter Sharon Musick, Linwood, brought her two great-granddaughters Aftyn and Trinity to visit Friday evening. She also brought her birthday cake to share with my neighbors and me.

I attended a surprise birthday party Saturday evening for my daughter Sharon Musick. It was given by her husband, LaVerne, at their Linwood home.
Other guests were Bob and Marilyn Lindeen, Eugene and Shirley Crawshaw, Imogene Brecheisen, Roxanne Van Meter, Terry and Janice McKenzie and granddaughters Allison and Emily Taylor, Robert and Anita Musick, and Autumn Musick and her son, Duncan.
